Our “Introduction to GIS” course learned how to collect GIS data in the field and made topographic contours from their own data. During the process, they also hid four geocaches around campus. Their map is available to all!
If you are not familiar with finding geocaches, you will be looking for a small container that is hidden out of sight. The container includes a log book that you sign when you find it. They also contain little prizes–take one and leave one. Happy searching!
